Designed for everyday use
Made to be used
This set of tactile sensory stones gives children the opportunity to broaden their understanding of shapes through exploratory play and mark making. The ribbed and smooth surfaces of the shapes offer children a rich sensory experience, and their vocabulary of shape and comparative language will develop as they talk about what they see and feel. The set includes twelve stones (50–80mm), two different sizes and thicknesses for each of the six shapes: circle, triangle, square, rectangle, pentagon and hexagon.
Cast from a durable mix of real stone and resin, each shape can be used to experiment with maths and to develop comparative and descriptive language across all areas of an environment including sand, water and soil. Age 3+.
