With the three large models, great feats can be accomplished at the after-school care center, and entire cities can be saved. The kit includes an adapter for a regular PET bottle, which is installed in the model and used as a water tank. In this way, children learn the importance of sustainability and that everyday objects can be used in many different ways – even humorously. An air pump builds up pressure in the water-filled PET bottle. When the valve is opened, water sprays out from up to three nozzles of the attached fire hose. This allows children to playfully learn the connection between air and water pressure. Together with the included figure, the fischertechNik, children experience many exciting adventures: heroic missions are undertaken, fires are extinguished, and people are rescued.
