An extensive set of wooden tiles printed with photographic and realistic colour images that inspire storytelling and stimulate curiosity about the world.
The set includes 90 durable tiles featuring images of animals, characters, places, modes of transport, celebrations, weather, and interesting objects. Children can select tiles from specific categories and use relevant adjectives and connecting words to narrate or write a descriptive sentence, or randomly select tiles to create a fun sequence of events or an entertaining story. They can also be used to create sentences for older children: turn all the tiles face down and players choose 3 at random - turn them over and tell a story using all three images, making sure to use verbs, adverbs, and adjectives!
The tiles are made of lightweight pine wood and are sturdy enough to stand upright on a table. The clear photographic images depict imaginative and real-life situations for storytelling, but can also be used to gain insight into broader topics - such as what is real, what is imagined, and ways to understand the differences between the two.
