There are vertical and horizontal lacing holes in the centre of each butterfly, so they can be laced in either direction in an ordered or random sequence.
Lacing is a great pre-writing activity, developing and strengthening coordination and fine motor skills. The butterfly set can also be used for counting and sorting, for imaginative play and to encourage descriptive language and storytelling.
The set includes 20 jewel butterflies in pink, green, yellow, blue and red (4 of each colour), with 2 laces and a cotton drawstring storage bag.
This product is made from FSC® certified wood*.
