De dieren zijn ontworpen met een combinatie van lasergesneden en geschilderde details, waardoor ze er realistisch uitzien en zo beter te begrijpen en te herkennen zijn.
De dierenstukjes zijn stevig, 15 mm dik en dubbelzijdig, zodat ze rechtop kunnen worden gezet in fantasierijke speelscènes of verticaal kunnen worden gestapeld om coördinatie- en evenwichtsvaardigheden te oefenen. De twee bakjes zijn ontworpen om de puzzel op te ruimen en gemakkelijk op te bergen, maar kunnen ook worden gebruikt voor het matchen van vormen, tekenen, kleuren of om te vullen met kleurrijke rijst of kralen voor een extra zintuiglijke oefening.
De bakjes zijn gemaakt van FSC-gecertificeerd berkenmultiplex. De dieren zijn gemaakt van FSC-gecertificeerd beukenhout.
